Globally series connection for supporting Burma-1006

Free Burma, Democracy victory, Burmese Taiwanese stand out
1006, Globally series connection for supporting Burma,
Support from Taiwan, rain or shine

International attention on Burma seeking for democracy movement had been allayed temporarily by the military junta’s violent crackdown, constraint even killed. But after the image of killing bodies abandoned by the soldiers in the river, and the images of the militaries beat barehanded people and monks had been brought out in the condition of news block from Burma. The military government’s atrocity made the whole world feel distressed, and more and more people joined the protest of military junta. October 3th, the United Nations Human Rights Council passed to condemn the Burma government without any obstacle. American Hollywood starts also sign letters to the Secretary-General of UN to express support for Burma. International civil society even decided to hold a Global Day of Action for Burma on October 6th. On this day, global series connection from America, England, Canada, French, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Aussie and India, etc will hold protesting parades at the same time.

In Taiwan, we never absence! 「Free Burma, Democracy victory」parade is launched by Burmese Taiwanese, religious, human rights NGOs and 「Taiwan Aung San Suu kyi Network」. In the parade, Burmese Taiwanese will wear Aung San Suu Kyi’s mask on the street. And they also will use Burmese slogans to express their strong against to the military government. That is 「Although violent military junta intern Aung San Suu Kyi, but will have thousands of “she” stand out in the future, and people will NOT defeat by violence 」. This campaign will also present yellow daisies to express their condole to monks and civilians who had been killed by the military junta.

The Burmese Chinese in Taiwan groups said that Burma military government used two-sided ways, one is to express good will to the international society that let the UN envoy go into Burma but they arrested people ruthless at the same movement. This kind of double-edged strategy is very commonly happened in the past 2 years. So, the efforts to support Burma democracy development shouldn’t slack off and should continue to turn the screws on Burma government and countries who support Burma government to let the military junta to hand state power back to the people. One ever joined the 「8888movernment」Burmese show his worried that the military autarchic government will not show any mercy to the people, if the international society ignore it. It will cause badly outcome to people in the future.

1. International society should continue to turn the screws to the military government and use necessary diplomacy methods negotiate with Burma government to rescue democratic personages in Burma.
2. Launching any kind of protests and express support actions to make the military junta realize the true of tyrannical government will end up soon. And unconditional to hand state power back to the people.
3. Ask including China, Russia, etc countries who have good friendship with Burmese government stop to support evil military government. Or we will not exclude to boycott the Olympic Games to show our remonstrance.
